VIDEO: Colin Cowherd Says Joe Burrow's Going to Fail and He'll Say the Exact Opposite Within a Month
Colin Cowherd is known for being one of the more outspoken individuals in sports media. He is also known for flip-flopping on his own takes and contradicting himself in seemingly record time depending on which way the wind's blowing. The FOX Sports pundit's latest hot take concerns Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow. Cowherd is already going on the record claiming Burrow will get destroyed by opposing defenses and look bad in 2020.

The weird part about this clip is that Cowherd is adamant he will be right about Burrow failing on a weekly basis. What is the benefit of being right about that? For all we know, Cowherd is going to forget he said this then drone on and on about how great Burrow will be later on this year.
Because that's just what he does.

Cowherd has a habit of talking about high-profile players and saying ridiculous things to keep his name in the news cycle. He has done this with Baker Mayfield and is now doing it with Burrow. The goal here is simply to drive ratings, and we ought to see right through it. Changing his tune on Burrow if the rookie succeeds will just be vintage Cowherd. In fact, he'll say he believed in the guy all along.
