Bengals Reportedly Have No Intention of Trading No. 1 Pick With Joe Burrow Readily Available

Even an organization as dysfunctional as the Cincinnati Bengals couldn't manage to throw their lost 2019 season down the drain by botching the No.1 overall pick in April, right?
That is correct. Well, at least for the time being.
Per NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Bengals have no intentions of trading out of the No.1 overall spot in order to stockpile a plethora of first round selections. As things stand, they are content with selecting LSU quarterback phenom Joe Burrow.
Following LSU's former passing game coordinator Joe Brady taking over OC duties for the Panthers, rumors began linking Carolina to potentially moving up to the No.1 pick to reunite Burrow with Brady. However, Schefter sources are adamant that the Bengals will hold serve and ultimately tab Burrow as their QB of the future.
Cincinnati has been looking for an excuse to move on from Andy Dalton for quite some time, and that chance has been handed to them on a silver platter...in the form of a signal caller who broke a myriad of passing records in his final season with LSU.
On top of it all, Burrow's father has already asserted that the Heisman winner, an Ohio native, would be honored to play for the Bengals.
It's still January, so nothing is set in stone just yet. But, it might be time to start picturing what Burrow is going to look like in orange and black.
