Tee Higgins Has Amazing Response to Controversial ESPN Graphic About His Family
By Adam Weinrib

Newly-minted Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins knows exactly where he came from, and he's got nothing but love for what led him out of the depths to this moment.
The National Champion Clemson Tiger was selected atop the second round this weekend in the NFL Draft and, as expected, ESPN's draft graphic brought up an unseemly part of his past, pointing out that Higgins' mother battled drug addiction for an extended period of time.
But instead of getting unnerved, Higgins stepped up -- he LOVES his mom for winning the battle, and chose to acknowledge her fight, rather than get upset.
I’m proud of my mom for turning her life around for me and my sister! I have no problem with them showing the world that my mom is a true fighter??? https://t.co/11xKrf4wlV

Yup. This family knows how to fight, and also when to pick their battles.
Higgins, an elite possession receiver at Clemson, was a projected first-round pick throughout the process, but slipped in a deep WR draft. Lucky for him, though, he now lands in a spot where he'll be able to catch balls from the No. 1 overall pick, Joe Burrow, in a cushy situation with plenty of opportunity.

When the ball's thrown his way, Higgins will be ready. After all, he's overcome much more than the bright lights of Cincinnati, and he knows what winning looks like.
