Bernard Pollard Continues to Take Shots at Tom Brady in Ridiculous Twitter Rant
By Sean Facey
Bernard Pollard's ill will towards Tom Brady truly seems to know no bounds.
The former NFL safety and Super Bowl champion who was involved in the play that took Brady out for the season in 2008 took yet another shot at the New England Patriots quarterback in an absurd Twitter rant.
Pollard asked why Brady is considered by many as the greatest quarterback of all time when he's not even getting paid $100 million. That's right, the sole determining factor in the GOAT discussion is what type of contract he's on.
Nevermind the fact that the man has won six Super Bowls, four Super Bowl MVPs, three regular season MVPs, thrown for over 70,000 yards, 500 touchdowns and has won 207 regular season games. None of that matters. The only thing worth discussing here is money.
Pollard also won't accept the argument that he's taken a paycut because his wife is extremely well-paid, so checkmate to all of you Brady lovers out there!
Seriously though, if Pollard wants to use contracts in the discussion of greatness, then Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo, a man who has started all of 10 games in his career, are the three best quarterbacks to ever take the field.
Pollard really needs stop looking for ways to try and clown on Brady. Love him or hate him, he's accomplishments are undeniable.
