For the first time in what seems like an eternity, the New England Patriots are nearing the inevitable embrace of a rebuild. We don't care what Bill Belichick says about his intentions to compete in 2020; deploying one of Jarrett Stidham or Brian Hoyer at quarterback won't translate to much success.

For years, the Patriots roster has been comprised of grizzly veterans that boasted the necessary moxie to win championships. Now, however, it's time for a youth movement, and it's fair to say that they don't have a great head start in that regard. With that in mind, let's dive into New England's best players under 25 years old.

3. Kyle Dugger

Kyle Dugger's inclusion on this list speaks volumes to the Patriots' lack of enticing youngsters. We nevertheless expect the 2019 second-round pick to flourish in Bill Belichick's system in due time. His ability to line up as a safety, slot corner and linebacker will see him play big time snaps as a rookie this upcoming season. It's not often that incoming draftees are already tabbed a team's best player under 25 years old, but New England is in the first year of a rebuild. Dugger qualifies, and his contributions will be notable.

2. N'Keal Harry

Wide receiver N'Keal Harry spent the first half of his debut season on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He didn't exactly burst onto the scene upon his return, but the Patriots offense was a certified dumpster fire. The 2019 first-round pick was given limited opportunities to prove that he was worth that selection, but his star potential was showcased in a beast mode non-touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. Fans in Foxborough should be content with what the future holds for Harry.

1. Isaiah Wynn

We fully understand that Isaiah Wynn has only played eight games across his first two NFL seasons, but his talent is undeniable. The 2018 first-round pick missed his entire rookie campaign with a torn Achilles and was placed on injured reserve last campaign with a toe injury. However, he earned a solid 69.9 grade from Pro Football Focus for the eight games he started in 2019. That's all you need to know about Wynn's potential. He just needs to stay healthy.
