The Biggest Trap Game on Auburn’s 2020 Schedule
By Tyler Kemp

Gus Malzahn and the Auburn Tigers had a solid 2019 season. They beat their heated rivals from down the road in Alabama , finished third in the western division and went 9-4 overall. It was not bad, but the expectation is the team will improve come 2020.
With quarterback Bo Nix entering his sophomore campaign, he is also expected to take another step forward. In a crowded SEC West, there are more than a few teams not named Alabama or LSU that can compete in the division and give the top teams a run for their money. One of these teams just brought in one of the biggest personalities in the coaching ranks to help rebuild their brand.

Lane Kiffin is once again back in the SEC. This time, he is taking over at Ole Miss. After a three-year stint at FAU, Kiffin is getting back in the saddle to compete with some of the best coaching and playing talent in the country.
Kiffin also has a good amount of intel about Auburn’s philosophies being that he was involved in the Iron Bowl rivalry as Alabama’s offensive coordinator. With that previous knowledge, he will be able to use it against Malzahn and the Tigers.
Ole Miss opens SEC play in week three against Auburn this season. Could this be Lane Kiffin’s first signature win as the Rebel head coach? Check out my way too early scouting report on Auburn to find out.

Ole Miss only lost by six in last year’s battle with the Tigers. This time around with the game being at home, the Rebels could catch the Tigers napping and steal a win for Kiffin.
