Bills Are Lucky to Have a Leader Like Cole Beasley Following Latest Real Talk

Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been a consummate professional throughout his NFL career in both Buffalo and Dallas. He goes out on the field, quietly goes about his business and makes big plays in the slot on any given Sunday.
While Beasley has been a solid player on the field, he has spent the last couple of weeks thinking about how he has functioned as a man off of the field. Beasley has now put out a social media post on both Twitter and Instagram recognizing his faults and shortcomings when dealing with race relations and racial discrimination in America, and it's a message many of us can learn something from.
As a white man with a Black wife and biracial children, Beasley looked himself in the mirror and realized he has to be more cognizant of the struggles the rest of his family has to face on a daily basis. As a man who enjoys Black culture by way of making his own rap music, Beasley realizes that he is capable of being part of the problem, often without ever realizing it -- but he is willing to work on being a part of the solution.
In order to get involved with the fight for racial equality, Beasley is using his own platform with his music in order to raise money for 9inety-10, a non-profit that provides young children with the tools necessary to be successful by way of the organizations youth sports training and camps.
Beasley has not only developed as a player on the field, but he has developed even more as a man off of it. As a person who is ingrained in Black culture through his family, he now understands the magnitude of the problem and what needs to be done in order to find a solution.
