Bills DT Jordan Phillips Claps Back at Blog Saying He Shouldn't Be Re-Signed
By Brendan Balsamo

Despite exceeding expectations in the regular season and making the playoffs for the second time in three years, the Bills were bounced from the postseason in the Wild Card round.
Well, now focused on improving the roster in the offseason, one Bills blog suggested the team would be better off not re-signing defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
Yeah this is hot ? top 3 DT easy and to say I had splash plays is a joke

The blog suggested the Bills look elsewhere this offseason, instead of retaining the 27-year-old for two main reasons -- money, as well as Phillips' play on the field.
After racking up a career-high 9.5 sacks in 2019, Phillips has certainly earned a payday. Whether or not it's in the best interest of the Bills to reward him financially, the DT is due for a raise.
Doesn’t seem like I made that big of impact with my inconsistency and splash plays but led the AFC sacks and TFLs for DT’s and had 300 less snaps then people close to me ???

However, despite his breakout season, the blog suggests that Phillips is inconsistent and is frequently "pushed out of the play."
Phillips didn't seem to agree with that assessment, citing the fact that he led the AFC in sacks and tackles for loss among DTs, despite playing significantly fewer snaps than his counterparts.
Man some people are just...I dunno. I love Phillips. He was great. But come on. At some point they can’t bring him back. Everyone sees 90M and thinks we can sign everyone. This offense needs help and we don’t need 6-7 guys on defense getting all that money.

Phillips' contract situation with the Bills will be one to monitor throughout the offseason.
