The Buffalo Bills made headlines this offseason when they traded for star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The team is probably a tackle and a running back away from having one of the most promising offenses in the league if Josh Allen is consistent. Their defense allowed the second-fewest points in the entire National Football League in 2019, and with the number one New England Patriots seeing a mass exodus of players, the Bills are primed to be the best in the league. With so much potential, an upgrade at one of their weaker positions could make them a terrifying team to face.

If the Bills dish out the money for Jadeveon Clowney, they might just be the most feared team in the league.

Clowney is the best defensive player available and his ability to disrupt the rushing and passing game, despite what his stats showed last year, is truly invaluable.

The Bill declined Shaq Lawson's contract option, and their defensive ends are 31-year-old Jerry Hughes and 32-year-old Mario Addison. That's not exactly going to get the job done. The Bills need another playmaker and Clowney is their guy. He fits the identity of this tenacious defense and Buffalo has the money to splurge on another prized possession. Add him to that D-line so the three can rotate and get necessary rest, and you'll have a fresh cast ready to terrorize opposing quarterbacks.

The Bills have a clear vision for their team and their defense. They have one of the best secondaries in the league, an ever-improving linebacking corps, and a strong interior pass rush. Adding a star on the edge would round out a complete unit that could keep the team in just about any game if Josh Allen's growing pains continue.
