Bills Making Power Moves on Defense This Offseason
While most of the attention will go to the Kansas City Chiefs out of the AFC leading up to the 2021 campaign, don’t forget about the Buffalo Bills, folks. The team had a huge campaign in 2020, winning the AFC East and making it to the conference title game, ultimately falling to Kansas City.
Well, the team has a Super Bowl on its mind and they’ve been busy this week making some strong moves on the defensive side of the ball. This has been highlighted by defensive end Mario Addison taking a pay cut to help with the salary cap, and linebacker Matt Milano signing a new four-year contract.
While Bills fans were heartbroken following the AFC Championship Game loss last season, this team surely is built for long-term success. With Josh Allen at quarterback and Stefon Diggs making brilliant plays on the outside for him, we saw a new side of the offense last fall and winter.
At the same time, the defense really turned heads and gave opposing offensive coordinators fits. You can fully expect that to be the case come 2021. Exciting times are indeed ahead for the Bills and their fans.
