Bills Safety Jordan Poyer Got His Gas Paid for by a Good Samaritan After Beating Cowboys
By Chris Pyo
Bills Mafia sure knows how to treat their players well.
Buffalo Bills free safety Jordan Poyer landed back home in Buffalo after contributing to the Bills' 26-15 Thanksgiving win against the Dallas Cowboys when one fan decided to prove exactly how much Poyer's efforts meant to him. Apparently, a fan offered to pay for Poyer's gas, which the safety was definitely appreciative of.
THAT'S that energy!
Bills fans have good reason to be in a giving type of mood. Not only are the Bills the best football team located in the New York area by a wide margin, but they're also in prime position for a playoff spot, with one of the best defenses in the league combined with an improved Josh Allen, who's been excelling in his second year.
Poyer himself has contributed his fair share of plays this year for the Bills' defense, with 51 solo tackles, an interception and two forced fumbles. He's been with the Bills since 2017, and has starred in their secondary ever since.
For a fanbase of a team that's only reached the playoffs once thus far in the 21st century, Bills fans sure are loyal. We'll see if the Bills can capitalize on a strong regular season and make some sort of a run in the playoffs.
