VIDEO: Stefon Diggs Running Perfect Routes Back in High School Will Make Bills Fans Drool
By Sam Dunn
The Buffalo Bills are on a mission to claim the AFC East as their own, and why wouldn't they? After surprisingly pushing the Patriots in the division last year only to see Tom Brady leave town entirely, it was time to start thinking big. Enter Stefon Diggs, the accomplished former Minnesota Vikings receiver who arrived in Orchard Park this week via trade. And if Bills fans want to get a head start on the excitement regarding their new addition, they ought to look no further than his route-running highlights from the 2011 US Army Underclassmen Combine.
That's NFL stuff from an 18-year-old right there. Sheesh.
The stop-and-start ability, balance and explosion of the line are all there and helped make Diggs a USA Today All-American as a high school senior. He went on to star at the University of Maryland, earning Second Team All-Big Ten honors his junior year before heading to the Twin Cities as a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
He eventually put all those well-honed skills to work by doing this.
Get ready for a good ol' time, Bills fans.
