Kentucky Signee BJ Boston Sends Message to Big Blue Nation Promising Excitement Next Season
By Brady Williams

On Thursday, the NCAA Tournament was supposed to begin the Round of 64. The coronavirus pandemic has put an end to any hope of seeing college basketball for the rest of the season, of course, as all athletics and public gatherings are now on hold for the foreseeable future. For University of Kentucky basketball, it means saying goodbye to a promising campaign. Luckily, Wildcat fans can look forward to next year, as 5-star recruit and future game-changer BJ Boston posted a nice shout-out to his new fans on Wednesday.
The Sierra Canyon High School senior gave some words of encouragement and promised some fun on the horizon when he joins UK's roster for the 2020-21 season.
“#BBN just thinking about you guys... I know the season didn’t end quite how we all wanted but excitement is on the way, I can’t wait to embrace you guys! Stay safe and please remember to wash your hands!!“????#KentuckyBasketball #BBN pic.twitter.com/vhpwjjW2wg

That excitement claim certainly isn't unfounded. The 6-6 shooting guard is the No. 7 overall recruit in the 2020 class by 247Sports.com, and is a McDonald's All-American. At the end of the 2019-20 season, his team was No. 2 in the country with a record of 30-4.
Kentucky fans rightly believe he can provide an instant boost to an already impressive squad.

Kentucky finished the regular season in a good position to make a run in the Big Dance. Dreams were deferred this year, but Boston's future arrival in Lexington is a silver lining.
