VIDEO: Blue Jays' Anthony Alford Swipes Three Bases to Steal a Run vs Yankees
By Jackson Thompson

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Alford just needed his bat to get on first against the Yankees on Saturday. After that, his legs did the rest, as the outfielder stole second, third, then home plate to score Toronto's second run of the spring.

Alford has only batted .145 in his limited time in the majors, with three stolen bases. He spent the majority of 2019 with the Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate, and racked up 22 stolen bases during that stint.
Not a bad way to show off your skills, huh? Everyone's watching the Spring Training opener, after all.
If Anthony Alford wants to finally have a breakout year and embark on a long major league career in Toronto that would be verrrrry OK.

Against Yankees reliever Luis Avilan, Alford proved that he can be a threat on the base paths, if he is able to get there.
