Blue Jays New Uniforms Are Amazing
By Jerry Trotta
It would appear that the Toronto Blue Jays are embracing their youth movement, which saw the likes of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Randal Grichuk emerge as cornerstone pieces in 2019 -- in more ways than one.
Those four young stars served as models on Saturday at the Jays' annual WinterFest at Rogers Centre for the unveiling of the club's new alternate jerseys.
Folks, they are exquisite.
What makes the jerseys all the more breathtaking is the fact that the stunning powder blue shade extends to the pants. It also includes a new hat with a dark navy blue crow (and powder blue rim).
Per the Canadian Press, these new threads represent a "mix of the team’s classic powder blue uniforms from the 1980s with a modern twist of navy blue hats and accents."
Indeed they do, and we cannot wait for the day these babies are debuted in 2020.
