The coronavirus pandemic has left many people with questions that don't have answers yet. Sports organizations, like the MLB, that had their athletes playing games nearly two weeks ago, now have been left with athletes that suddenly have nowhere to go.

One of those athletes that suddenly have been caught up in the sudden policy changes is Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu, per one report. Ryu is attempting to return home to Toronto, but due to new strict policies regarding the Canadian border closing, he cannot go since he is a Korean citizen.

Luckily, the MLB is not mandating that the Spring Training facilities that house these players be forced to shut down, noting the sensitive nature of the situation. Many of the players, like Ryu, could have nowhere to go until the restrictions are lifted, assuming this report is correct.

It's just one of many ways all sports organizations are being forced to adjust on the fly to a rapidly-changing situation. For the most part, all of the commissioners should be applauded for the actions they have taken, including multiple donations to suddenly displaced workers.

For now, those who can go home will do so and wait out a crisis that has no timetable.
