VIDEO: Blue Jays Somehow Throw Out 2 Runners at the Plate at the Same Time vs Pirates
By Brendan Balsamo

After finishing 69-93 in 2019, the Pittsburgh Pirates aren't looking any better entering 2020. In a play in their Spring Training game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, the Pirates somehow had two players tagged out at home on the same throw.

On an absolute bomb against the wind from Pirates prospect Oneil Cruz, a baserunning miscue caused both Kevin Kramer and Jacob Stallings to be thrown out trying to score.
The Pirates' play-by-play commentator Greg Brown referenced a similar play from 1985 when White Sox catcher Carlton Fisk tagged out two Yankees at home plate in Bobby Meacham and Dale Berra. That's a glorious rewatch.

This was just a comical play from a comical team. There are multiple teams in MLB that are looking great for 2020, and the Pirates are most certainly not one of them.
