Toronto looks to rebound from an ugly 15-2 series-opening loss. The Jays had a scare last night when Vlad Guerrero Jr. left after he was hit by a pitch. He'll miss today's game but the issue isn't considered serious.
Cavan Biggio and Lourdes Gurriel Jr., two of just four players with hits from Friday's shellacking, will look to guide the offense.
Clayton Richard (0-2, 7.04 ERA) takes the mound for the Blue Jays. He got roughed up in his last start, allowing seven runs in just 2.2 innings against the Diamondbacks.

Exciting prospect Yordan Alvarez looks to continue his success at the big league level. Alvarez has slugged three home runs in his first four games. Alex Bregman, who drove in three runs in the series opener, will look to continue his recent success. The star third baseman has posted a .993 OPS in his last 15 games.
Framber Valdez (2-2, 2.73 ERA) makes his second start of the season. He allowed just one run in seven innings in his first start of the year.
