Thornton is coming off an excellent start against Houston where he logged 6.2 shutout innings with seven strikeouts.

Mookie Betts is in the leadoff spot once again, while Andrew Benintendi and Xander Bogaerts follow. J.D. Martinez hits cleanup, ahead of Brock Holt and Michael Chavis.
