Blues President Blasts Boston Zamboni Crew for Not Having Ice Ready for Team Practice
By Brendan Azoff

When you are in the Stanley Cup Finals, everyone in your organization must do their job to perfection in order for your team to reach the pinnacle of the hockey world.
In the case of the St. Louis Blues, the Boston Zamboni Crew was not performing properly, and Blues President Doug Armstrong made sure they knew about it.
The president of the @StLouisBlues Doug Armstrong just laid out the Boston Zamboni crew for not having the ice ready for the Blues practice. He said, “Do your blanking jobs.” @ksdknews

It is probably in the best interests of the Zamboni crew to not anger the Blues President again. Granted, Armstrong may have handled the situation incorrectly, but hey if I have a practice scheduled at 1:00 I want to be on the ice at 1:00.
Practice makes perfect, and with Game 7 taking place Wednesday night every minute is vital. The Blues have to work out some of their last-minute kinks, which includes their penalty killing and the play of Jordan Binnington.
Wednesday.

Everyone is on edge with the upcoming Game 7, including Armstrong, who took out his frustration on the Zamboni drivers. We can fully expect that nervous anticipation to be in the air on Wednesday night, when the Cup is in the building.
