The Stanley Cup Finals have one game in the books, which saw the Boston Bruins scored four unanswered goals to beat the St. Louis Blues and take a 1-0 series lead. The Bruins will look to take a 2-0 lead, while the Blues look to even up the series at 1-1 with a victory in Game 2.

The Bruins completely took over Game 1 after the Blues took a 2-0 lead early in the second, when Boston went on to outshoot St. Louis 18-3 in the second period and tied things up 2-2 heading into the third.
Tuukka Rask did not have many difficult moments, but he made the saves he needed to and closed the door after giving up his second goal of the game. The Bruins will look to keep their outstanding play going on Wednesday night. Should that happen, they'll take a 2-0 series lead to St. Louis.

The Blues came out of the gates firing and were rewarded with the first goal of the Stanley Cup Finals, scored by Brayden Schenn. They took a 2-0 lead and then relaxed the rest of the game, as the Bruins stormed back and handed St. Louis a Game 1 loss. The Blues will need to fix many things in order to even have a chance in the series. They'll look for a much stronger showing in Game 2.
