Bo Pelini Reportedly a 'Strong Candidate' to Replace Dave Aranda as LSU DC
By Mark Powell

College football is better with Bo Pelini prominently involved, and the current Youngstown State head coach could be back by popular demand.
Despite the social media presence of one @FauxPelini, the actual coaching candidate is drawing some interest for the LSU defensive coordinator opening, which was vacated by Dave Aranda.

Aranda left for Baylor after the National Championship, and Pelini would be a worthwhile replacement in part because he's done this job before, albeit under a different regime. Pelini served under Les Miles as the Tigers' DC from 2005-07.
Pelini's big personality could benefit from a redemption tour despite his current position as Penguins' head coach. More SEC experience could again line Pelini up for a more desirable head coaching opportunity years down the road.

Bo Pelini a possible shortlist candidate for #LSU’s DC Spot. https://t.co/nm9J2mkM0K
Per footballscoop, Ed Orgeron is also interested in former Cowboys passing game coordinator Kris Richard for the vacancy. Pelini's experience should be an advantage at the moment, however.
