Bobby Portis Has Best Response When Asked the Last Team Kawhi Leonard Would Want to Play For
By Michael Luciano
The whole basketball universe, more specifically the entire fan bases of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Toronto Raptors are eagerly awaiting the decision from Kawhi Leonard on his next destination.
With the 27 other teams all ruled out, one has to wonder who has the lowest chance of stealing Board Man away from any of those three. Newly-minted Knicks forward Bobby Portis has the answer, and it makes all the sense in the world.
Could you imagine if we got to see Kawhi Leonard with Gregg Poovich in San Antonio? Oh wait...
While the Spurs seemed like the perfect match from a basketball, media, and fit standpoint for the mute basketball robot that Kawhi seems to be at times, their medical staff's inefficiencies literally drove Leonard out of the country.
Leonard might be persona non grata at the River Walk right now, but with the Spurs handicapped by DeMar DeRozan's contract and barely treading water in the West, Kawhi got the last laugh.
