It might have seemed like the sky was falling in Seattle when superstar linebacker Bobby Wagner underwent a procedure on his knee, but the man himself may have put all those fears to rest by showing up at Seahawks practice ready to go, ahead of schedule.

For the first time since Aug. 3, Wagner is back on the practice field. To further pep everyone up, head coach Pete Carroll even acknowledged that Wagner will likely play at some point during the preseason.

Wagner, who last year staked his claim as the best linebacker in football, put together an All-Pro season in 2018, recording 138 tackles, a sack, and an interception in the heart of Ken Norton Jr.'s defense.

Even though Seattle has a talented defensive unit this year, it would likely crumble to pieces without Wagner's toughness and impeccable reading of the game.

Sorry, NFC West opponents who were hoping Wagner would miss time. You still have to face him and that defense twice this year.
