Boston Reporter Calls Out Blake Snell for Slow Pitching and Gets Roasted With David Price Takes
By Jerry Trotta
Though Major League Baseball has made strides in recent years about quickening the game's renowned slow pace, there are still many prevalent dynamics that contribute to the considerably long game durations we're used to.
Some of these include hitters dawdling outside the batter's box before at-bats and between pitches, and pitchers taking their sweet time in between chucking the pill.
Boston reporter Trenni Kusnierek addressed the latter in a tweet on Sunday about Rays ace Blake Snell's alleged delay amid pitches on Sunday, and got absolutely roasted for failing to account for David Price's distinct slow pace on the mound, and the rest of the slow-paced Red Sox.
Not only was Trenni called out for her biased reporting, but was also labeled a clown in the process, likely undeservedly so.
But Rays fans weren't done backing last year's American League Cy Young.
Earth to David Price.
Bueller?
Bueller?
Don't worry, folks. Kusnierek came to her own defense by slighting the salty, butt-hurt Tampa Bay fan base, roasting them for Tropicana Field's most recent record-breaking low attendance count.
Talk about a comeback. After Kusnierek seemed buried, she comes back with a troll job for the ages. Though her take on Snell was a bit hypocritical, she still managed to walk away with a W here.
Nothing tops trolling a fan base for not supporting their first place ball club.
Well done, Kusnierek. Well done.
