Boston Scott's Goodbye Message to Jason Peters Does Not Bode Well for Eagles Fans
By Scott Rogust

Philadelphia Eagles fans received some numbing news on Thursday morning when it was announced veteran left tackle Jason Peters and the team mutually agreed he'll test things in free agency. Even so, reports indicated Peters wouldn't rule out a return to Philly.
The chances of that happening don't seem high, especially if you look at Eagles running back Boston Scott's message to Peters.

Peters has been with the Eagles since 2009 when they acquired him in a trade with the Buffalo Bills. Despite giving up a bevy of draft picks, the deal was a massive win for Philadelphia, as he added seven Pro Bowl nominations to his credit, and played a significant role in keeping quarterback Nick Foles upright during their Super Bowl championship run in 2018.
After dealing with a knee injury this past season and considering he's 38, the Eagles are allowing Peters to talk with other teams. Despite his age, you better believe multiple organizations will be interested in his services.
This sounds like a goodbye to Jason Peters

Will never forget seeing Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson wearing his shirt at the Super Bowl to show how much they respected him
And just how imposing JP is especially standing next to Darren

Even though the Eagles aren't ruling out a potential return, it sounds like this is officially the end for Peters' time in Philadelphia. If that indeed is the case, what a career he had in the City of Brotherly Love.
