Brad Stevens' 'Favorite Thanksgiving Side' Simply Cannot Be a Real Food
By Adam Weinrib

Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens has gotten a good portion of his shine back in 2019-20 after a downer of a season, overtaken by ongoing Kyrie Irving drama.
But we're here to remove that shine with the inclusion of one cursed sentence.
When asked prior to Wednesday night's game which Thanksgiving side dish he most enjoyed, Stevens had a ton of options at his disposal if he wanted to continue to pass as human. "Mashed potatoes" works. So does "stuffing." We would've accepted green beans, creamed onions, various pies.
Nope.
Brad Stevens’ favorite Thanksgiving side is a gello pretzel salad.

Sorry, just got physically ill. Jeez, who am I, Robert Williams thinking about an 8:00 am wakeup call?
Truth be told, one quick Google search confirms this is a food and -- sighs -- it looks good as hell. Despite its brutal moniker, a "Jello pretzel salad" appears to be a dessert, including strawberries, cream cheese, Jello, and a pretzel layer to get that savory element.
Brad Stevens said his favorite Thanksgiving dish is a dessert his wife makes called Jello Pretzel Salad: “It’s got a base of pretzels, something very unhealthy, and then jello and strawberries on top. It’s outstanding.”

I'm in! But please, Coach Stevens, encourage a rebrand.
