Childhood Photo of Brandon Aiyuk Proves He Was Always Destined to Be a 49er

Former Arizona State receiver and brand new 49er Brandon Aiyuk was born in Rocklin, California. Being only two hours from San Francisco, he was raised among 49ers fans, and it seems he himself grew up rooting for the team. When they selected Aiyuk with pick No. 25 in the first round of the NFL Draft, it seems it was simply fate running its natural course.

After the selection went through, Aiyuk shared an adorable picture of himself as a toddler rocking a 49ers turtleneck.

Aiyuk lived out every fan's dream last night. Being able to grow up and play for your favorite team is an incredible accomplishment.

The 49ers hadn't taken a first-round receiver since 2012, but they were beyond determined to land one this time around, and nabbing a hometown kid must've been the icing on the cake.

Aiyuk is set to be a major offensive factor on a team that just went to the Super Bowl and continued to beef up its defense on Draft Day. His childhood team, no less. With an absurd 81-inch wingspan at six feet tall, he has a fantastic catching radius for Jimmy Garoppolo to target. It's hard not to smile when you see a kid grow into greatness.
