Brandon Browner Sued for Multiple Allegations of Domestic Violence
By Seth Carlson
It's been a long and treacherous road for former NFL CB Brandon Browner since he last played professional football for the New Orleans Saints in 2015.
Browner, after being sentenced to eight years in prison for attempted murder, can now add domestic violence allegations to his criminal ledger. This seems to be just the latest unruly act committed by the Super Bowl champion in a series of them since he has left the league.
Browner is most remembered in the NFL for his physical play and his larger than average size for the cornerback position.
Perhaps the most notable moment of his career came during Super Bowl XLIX, when at the end of the game, he helped set up Malcolm Butler's interception of Russell Wilson in the end zone with exceptional coverage of Jermaine Kearse. Browner playing against his former team, the Seahawks, made the moment all the sweeter.
Should the allegations against Browner be proven true, he'll be forced to pay up despite spending the next eight years behind bars.
