Braves country, you've got your guy.
Atlanta officially announced the signing of former Houston Astros ace Dallas Keuchel on Friday night after the team's victory over the Miami Marlins. The left-hander spoke to the media as well.

It's indeed a one-year deal, but we don't know the official financials at this point. Reports suggested it's a $13 million contract, which is a steal for a pitcher of Keuchel's caliber considering how big of a need it is for the Braves.
Fans have to love the aggressive nature of the front office over the last year.

Based on what Keuchel told the media after the announcement, fans have to be pumped about what he's going to bring to the table for this team. Expect to see him on the field soon once he gets a start or two at Triple-A Gwinnett.
Keuchel on when he thinks he could join the rotation: "Stamina, I'm built up to go five or six at least. Theres really no concrete timetable, its more of touch and go basis. I would expect myself, just knowing how I operate and how I do things, it wouldn't be long at all" #Braves

Keuchel will join a rotation in desperate need of help and he'll have his old buddy from Houston behind the plate in Brian McCann.
Keuchel: "it never hurts to have Brian McCann on your team. He's one of the all time greats, not only behind the plate" #Braves

This seems like a match made in heaven and it'll surely be a sight to see Keuchel taking the bump in the postseason for the Braves.
