The Atlanta Braves have some amazing young talent on the roster and even more waiting in the minors. The team selects No. 25 overall in June's 2020 MLB Draft and will want to choose wisely given there are only five rounds. Three players in particular stand out as potential targets who should be available when the Braves are on the clock.

3. Clayton Beeter

Clayton Beeter throws absolute smoke. He spent two seasons at Texas Tech and was primarily a reliever before making four starts in a shortened 2020 season. His 73 strikeouts in only 41.2 innings jump off the page for any scout. There are going to be concerns about his durability given the small workload, but he can throw in the high-90s and could be sent straight to the bullpen. Beeter had eight saves in 2019 and the Braves could make him their closer of the future.

2. Bobby Miller

The Braves could also target another pitcher with relief and starting experience in Louisville's Bobby Miller. He made 41 total appearances, with 25 starts, and had a career K/9 of 9.3. Miller began 2020 as a starter and had a 2.31 ERA in four starts. The versatility here is intriguing and the Braves could select Miller and determine the best role later on. The right-hander stands an imposing 6-5 and got on draft radars after making several Freshman All-American teams in 2018.

1. Chris McMahon

Chris McMahon is another right-handed pitcher who had his most success in college as a starter. The Miami product had a career 3.28 ERA and struck out 123 batters in 112.1 innings. His stock remained high after starting 2020 with a 3-0 record and 1.05 ERA. McMahon stands 6-2, can hit the mid-to-high 90s, and was already drafted by the Braves back in 2017 out of high school. The team should still have plenty of interest after McMahon got even better in college.
