VIDEO: Braves Share Awesome Clip of Freddie Freeman and His Adorable Son for Father's Day
By Michael Luciano
Father's Day is a time for celebration and a time for honoring the dads who take the time out to foster a love for baseball in their children. Numbering among those select few is Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman, who has been molding his son Charlie into the game's next great power hitter. The Braves honored the Freeman family with a short clip that wished a Happy Father's Day to the "All-Star Dads" out there.
The younger Freeman has frequently stolen the show on social media. In addition to his wiffle ball prowess that has seen him knock a wiffle ball cleanly out of the Freeman backyard, he circled the bases at what is now Truist Park after the Braves clinched the NL East last season.
These moments are what Father's Day is all about.
We're sure that when Father's Day 2041 rolls around, Charlie will be crushing dingers in Atlanta and racking up All-Star game appearances like their nothing just like pops used to back when he played.
