Braves Name Underrated Trey Harris 'Prospect of the Year' and His Reaction is Adorable
By Adam Weinrib

The Atlanta Braves have as star-studded a farm system as anyone, and young outfielder Cristian Pache distinguished himself as their next super-prospect in many respects this season.
But he's not their Minor League Player of the Year, as officially named on Sunday.
The team's Pitcher of the Year was Ian Anderson, and Trey Harris, a Single-A outfielder whose season very few saw coming, took home the other honor.
#Braves named OF Trey Harris and RHP Ian Anderson as their Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year award winners.

What a climb! Harris earned the nod over Pache and Drew Waters, who hit .309 with seven bombs across two levels with Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett.
Harris outworked those numbers, though; last year's 32nd-rounder (yes, you read that right!) traversed three levels, hitting .323 with 14 homers and 73 RBI overall.
And yes, Harris was blown away, incredibly relieved that his hard work was with it.
Honestly just so excited and smiling ear to ear. Wasn’t expecting this at all and just blessed and excited! https://t.co/sDSOAsEK1L

We're excited to see what's next for the ebullient rookie. The sky appears to be the limit, after hard work in Year 1 yielded incredible results.
