The Atlanta Braves' No. 1 prospect is on the move.

Christian Pache, the 20-year-old outfielder from the Dominican Republic, has been promoted to the organization's Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers.

The center fielder had outgrown his role with the Mississippi Braves, sporting a .278/.340/.474 slash line with 11 homers, 53 RBI, and 8 stolen bases in 104 games played this season.

He should see a starting role on the club immediately given the struggles of current starting CF Connor Lien. The career minor-leaguer has been awful since being sent to Triple-A, maintaining a .167 BA with 2 HR and 6 RBI in 24 contests.

While Pache continues to progress through the organization, you shouldn't expect to see him in the MLB anytime soon.

Outfielder Ender Inciarte has picked things up since his slow start to the year, and has earned the starting spot in center in the eyes of management. Also, with the capable bats of Matt Joyce and Austin Riley waiting in the dugout, it's hard to imagine the Braves will want to overcrowd their outfield any further at this point.
