Braves Re-Sign Charlie Culberson to Minor League Deal
By Karl Rasmussen

The Braves made the tough decision to non-tender Charlie Culberson earlier in the offseason, allowing the 30-year-old to hit free agency.
Well, it turns out Culberson won't be leaving the Braves after all, as the team announced via Twitter on Friday that they had re-signed him to a minor league deal.

Culberson will be invited to spring training where he'll have the chance to try to crack the Braves roster.
His season came to a screeching halt in 2019 when a bunt attempt went disastrously wrong and ended up hitting him in the face. He was placed on the 60-day IL after the incident in mid-September.

Mostly featuring as a pinch-hitter in 2019, Culberson started in 108 games, making 144 plate appearances. He slashed .259/.294/.437 with five homers and 20 RBI.
Culberson will remain with the Braves organization for the third straight season and he'll look to crack the roster as a reliable bench option. Not to mention, he can also be summoned out of the bullpen, if need be.
