The Atlanta Braves begin a huge four-game series with the Washington Nationals Thursday night, but before these two NL East rivals square off, the Braves made a couple roster moves.

Atlanta recalled right-handed pitcher Kyle Wright, who will start Thursday's game, as well as activating center fielder Ender Inciarte from the 10-day injured list.

To make room on the active roster, the Braves have optioned right-handed pitcher's Bryse Wilson and Huascar Ynoa to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Wright, a former first-round pick out of Vanderbilt, got an opportunity early in the season to prove himself with the big league squad, but he struggled mightily and owns an 0-2 record with a 7.07 ERA over three starts.

However, Wright has started to turn his season around at Triple-A, as he's allowed three earned runs or less in six straight starts, including a start last month where he tossed 7.2 innings with 10 strikeouts.

Inciarte is expected to start in center field Thursday, which is the first time he's started a major league game since May 14. Atlanta's Gold-Glover has been out with a lower lumbar strain that kept him sideline for a little over two months.

Of course, the Braves didn't need to rush him back with the instant production rookie Austin Riley provided. However, Riley has struggled mightily for weeks now and could see a drop in playing time, especially if Inciarte hits the ground running.
