Braves Reportedly Making Madison Bumgarner a 'Priority'
By Jerry Trotta

The Atlanta Braves are expected to make a big splash (or two) this offseason, and most baseball pundits presume they will aim to improve their youthful starting rotation.
What better way to do that than to pursue one of the most dominant postseason pitchers in MLB history?
Per NBC Sports, the Braves are making lefty Madison Bumgarner one of their top priorities this winter.

Like any competent organization, the Braves are simply looking to take their rotation to that next level. They will surely be returning to the playoffs come 2020, and MadBum has had October success like no one else on the planet.
The 30-year-old left-hander is a three-time World Series champion, a former World Series MVP, and a former NLCS MVP.

It does, however, remain to be seen if the Braves will have any limitations when it comes to signing free agents. On Wednesday, the MLBPA announced that they were launching a full investigation into general manager Alex Anthopoulos for possible collusion.
In the meantime, stay tuned for updates on Bumgarner's suitors as well as the MLBPA's investigation, as it could prove pivotal to Atlanta's offseason ambitions.
