Braves Star Andruw Jones Has Stunned Reaction to His Own Hall of Fame Case
By Adam Weinrib

It's quite possible that Atlanta Braves outfielder Andruw Jones is a Hall of Famer, and his resume may perform better someday when examined by the Veterans Committee.
Or by Jones himself.
When compiled to make the argument for him, Jones is the only man in the game's history to reach a very specific set of impressive milestones, factoring in new-age stats that encapsulate his elite defense.
#Braves Andruw Jones is the only player in baseball with at least 300 home runs, 200 defensive runs saved, and 150 stolen bases.

434 home runs
234.7 defensive runs saved
152 stolen bases
Didn't know that? We don't blame you. Neither did Jones.

Perhaps it was the final few years away from Atlanta where Jones never really clicked in a new locale, gaining weight in Texas, LA, Chicago, and the Bronx that forever altered his legacy. But for years, Jones was Atlanta's rock, a lithe and powerful center fielder who played the position like no other, and could sock 51 homers (a 2005 career high) if the mood struck.
He's certainly a first impression Hall of Famer, but his case has been lost to the sands of time a bit, so much so that even the man himself is blown away by it. Hopefully, this is the first step towards him getting a proper evaluation.
