VIDEO: Braves Top Prospect Kyle Wright Dominates Red Sox for Trio of Shutout Innings
By Michael Luciano

Former No. 5 overall pick Kyle Wright has had a rough go in the MLB, having pitched in just 11 games over his first two seasons while recording an unsightly 7.71 ERA. The former Vanderbilt Commodore appears to have cleaned up whatever issues were plaguing him over the last few years, though. Wright tossed three near-perfect innings that saw him strike out five Red Sox batters in a Spring Training appearance.

The 24 year old allowed just one hit in his three innings of work, and didn't walk a single batter.
Wright faces an uphill climb to get back in Brian Snitker's good graces and earn a spot in Atlanta's rotation this year, but he could be well on his way after lighting up the Red Sox in Spring Training.
