The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets will continue their important three game series on Saturday after Atlanta nabbed a victory in extra innings on Friday night.
How to Live Stream Mets vs Braves
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 ET. The game will be televised regionally on Fox Sports South in Atlanta and WPIX in New York. Fans can live stream the game on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Braves Lineup
The Braves extended their division lead to over the Mets to 10 games with last nights win. With a six game lead on the second-place Nationals, Atlanta is in good shape to reach October. That being said, every game against division rivals matter, especially this time of year.
Breakout lefty Max Fried (14-4 3.84 ERA) takes the hill for Atlanta with chance to claim a series victory. Fried hasn't pitched more than 6 innings since May 1. With a shaky Braves bullpen, Fried may have to start going deeper into games down the stretch.
Mets Lineup
The Mets will send Amed Rosario to the plate first, with Joe Panik and Pete Alonso following him up. Michael Conforto will hit cleanup, with Wilson Ramos in the five-hole. Ramos has done nothing but hit of late, slashing .395/.422/.442 with four RBI and just three strikeouts across his last 11 games.
Zack Wheeler (9-4 4.40 ERA) will start Saturday's game for the Mets. In his last seven starts, Wheeler has struck out 38 while walking only seven. He's given up too many home runs this year, but limiting walks goes along way in keeping runs off the board.
Friday night felt a lot like 2018 for the Mets, with ace Jacob deGrom dominating on the mound while also being his only source of run support. deGrom struck out 13 in seven innings while driving in the Mets' lone run, himself, with an opposite field homer. Hopefully the team can provide more of a spark offensively on Saturday.
