Braves vs Tigers MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Opener
By Parker White
The Atlanta Braves (30-26) are coming into this home weekend series against the Detroit Tigers (21-32) after getting destroyed by Washington. That very well could be fluky, as the Braves have been very good in the month of May. There's a good chance they turn it around quickly, as now they face a Tigers team that simply can't score runs.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET at SunTrust Park. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit and Fox Sports South. You can stream the game on MLB.TV, as well as find stream on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Tigers Lineup
Tigers right-hander Spencer Turnbull has just been activated from the bereavement list and will get the ball for Detroit. In 11 starts this season he owns a 2.97 ERA, and in his last start against the Mets he went seven innings and struck out eight.
As for the bats, the steady Miguel Cabrera will hit in his typical cleanup role, protected by the likes of trade chip Nicholas Castellanos and Brandon Dixon.
Braves Lineup
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Manager Brian Snitker is rolling out his usual lineup, with Ronald Acuña Jr. leading off and Ozzie Albies batting eighth in front of the pitcher.
You wonder when Austin Riley will move up in the order, as he's smashed the baseball ever since he's been called up, hitting .375 with seven home runs and 20 RBI in 56 at-bats.
Right-hander Mike Foltynewicz will get the ball in the series opener, and after a rocky start he's beginning to round into form, including his last two starts where he's combined to allow just two runs with 10 strikeouts in 12 innings of work.
