BREAKING: Spurs Legend Tony Parker Retiring From NBA After 18 Seasons

An iconic member of the San Antonio Spurs dynasty is calling it a career.
NBA veteran Tony Parker is retiring after 18 seasons in the league.

Parker spent 17 of his 18 seasons with the Spurs (the only other coming with the Charlotte Hornets this past year) and was an integral member of the dynasty that netted four titles. He won Finals MVP in 2007.
Over his career, he was selected to six All-Star Games and four All-NBA teams. He averaged 15.5 points and 5.6 assists throughout his 18 seasons.
At his best, he was a strong scoring option for the Spurs, once averaging 22 points per game during the 2008-09 season.
After 18 seasons, Tony Parker says he is "not going to play basketball anymore."

Drafted with the 28th overall pick back in 2001, Parker carved out a quality career for himself and will be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame someday.
Parker was a franchise icon and a key player during his time in San Antonio. His retirement marks yet another name of the Spurs' glory out of the NBA.
