Breshad Perriman Could Be Perfect Cost-Effective Signing for 49ers to Replace Emmanuel Sanders

The NFL's wide receiver market is drying up in one of the final waves of free agency, and the 49ers find themselves in need of reinforcements to bolster a depleted receiving corps.
San Francisco lost one of their main contributors from last year's NFC Champion squad, as wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders signed a two-year deal with the New Orleans Saints in free agency.
John Lynch should be on the phone with former Buccaneers receiver Breshad Perriman's agent right now.
On top of losing a crafty route runner in Sanders, San Francisco could part ways with Olympic-caliber speed demon Marquise Goodwin. For all of Perriman's faults as a receiver, he'll help out Jimmy Garoppolo in terms of extending the field.
After bringing his career back from the dead as the No. 3 option in Tampa Bay last season, Perriman has proven that he works best as a slot mismatch for a team that likes to utilize a heavy dosage of slant routes mixed in with the occasional deep shot. Kyle Shanahan and Garoppolo threw the fewest amount of passes 20 yards or further in the air last year, but that could change with Perriman in town.
Perriman broke out under a creative offensive mind in Bruce Arians, so 49ers fans could, and should, expect similar production once he's in the hands of Shanahan.
