Brett Favre Weighs in on Cowboys' Hire of Former Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy

Brett Favre only spent two seasons with Mike McCarthy as his head coach in Green Bay. There was a bit of drama during that time and Favre ultimately left, clearing the way for Aaron Rodgers to become the starter.
Favre and McCarthy aren't some legendary duo, but the former Packers gunslinger had nothing but good things to say about the new Dallas Cowboys head coach.
"I believe that he is tailor-made for that job."

Favre discussed how he believes McCarthy is the perfect man for the job, citing his toughness and brash attitude. Favre also feels that the 56-year-old will be beneficial for the development of Dak Prescott.
Getting the most out of Prescott will be vital in 2020, and McCarthy may be the best man to unlock the 26-year-old's full potential.

A Favre endorsement should be music to Cowboys' fans ears, as they'll hope to achieve under McCarthy what they couldn't under Jason Garrett. Everyone seems to think McCarthy was the right hire for Jones and Co. in Dallas, so it's time for him to get to work at proving his believers right.
