Brett Gardner Admirer Responds to Reports and Claims Their Romance is Authentic

New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner has embroiled himself in a legal battle, filing a restraining order against Yankee fan Gina Devasahayam, who claims that Gardner sent her "sexual signals" from the field and that she is his "future wife" despite the fact they have never even met.

Devasahayam, who claims to run an anti-aging company called "Genetik Signal" tried to pour cold water on the reports that this is some sort of non-consensual relationship, as she claims that she and Gardner have "an authentic romance" between them.

Gardner is a happily married man, as he has two children with his wife, Jessica. Devasahayam has passed the point where her behavior is odd, and she's forced Gardner to take legal action, seeking to ban her from not only Yankee Stadium, but multiple stadiums across the nation.

Devasahayam's Twitter account has around 1,400 tweets, and more than half of them are unsettling statements showing her love for the Yankees outfielder.

This whole scenario incredibly weird and unnerving.

The sooner Devasahayam gets out of the limelight, the better. Hopefully Gardner is able to put this incredibly bizarre and unsettling saga behind him as Opening Day draws ever closer.
