Brewers Reportedly Sign Former Cardinals and Dodgers Infielder Jedd Gyorko

Jedd Gyorko seems to have gotten another crack at making an impact at the MLB level.
The 31-year-old free agent infielder has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Milwaukee Brewers, per Ken Rosenthal.
Gyorko, who can play every infield position and even a bit of outfield, owns a .245/.309/.421 career slash line with 112 home runs and 353 RBI to boot.
Those numbers took a major hit thanks to his abysmal 2019 campaign, though. Injuries severely limited his time out on the field, and the St. Louis Cardinals ended up trading him to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the deadline.
He stumbled to the finish line with just a .498 OPS in 101 plate appearances.
Now, though, he's back in the NL Central. Considering how thin the Brewers are in the infield, Gyorko has a strong chance of being able to get some consistent playing time heading into 2020.
The bar is most definitely at a low point for Gyorko, but if he can round back into his old, reliable form for next year, this could prove to be a worthwhile signing for the Brew Crew.
