Brewers Top Prospect Keston Hiura is Absolutely Raking Since Demotion to Triple-A
By Parker White

The Milwaukee Brewers called up top prospect Keston Hiura back in May, and even though he was holding his own at the big league level, he was demoted early in June to make room for fellow infielder Travis Shaw.
It didn't make sense at the time, and it...still doesn't make sense that he's riding the buses in Triple-A, as Hiura continues to rake.
Keston Hiura has hit .307/.395/.627 with seven homers in 18 games since being sent down to Triple-A earlier this month.

In the 18 games at Triple-A since being sent down, Hiura is hitting .307 with seven home runs and a 1.022 OPS. In 55 games at San Antonio in total, the slugging second baseman is slashing .324/.403/.672 with 18 home runs and 44 RBI.

Travis Shaw .167 BA, .275 OBP, 6 HR 13 RBIs in 55 games
Keston Hiura .281 BA, .333 OBP, 5 HR, 9 RBI in 17 MLB games
18 HR, 44 RBI, .324 BA, .503 OBP in 55 games at AAA
What's wrong with this picture.
How much longer will the Brewers stick with Travis Shaw, who is hitting just .167 with six home runs over 55 games? We know Shaw has power and has proven to be a valuable big leaguer in the past, but not every team has a stud down in Triple-A who could be the difference between winning the division or being a Wild Card team.
The choice is yours, Crew.
