The Milwaukee Brewers (45-39) are tied for the top spot in the NL Central, but surprisingly enough, the Cincinnati Reds (38-43) are not far behind at just 5.5 games back. This is a crucial series for both clubs, especially a Reds team that is trying to make a push.

Brewers Lineup

Jesse Winker will lead things off for Cincinnati, with Joey Votto and Eugenio Suárez following in the order. Cleaning up is recently activated second baseman Scooter Gennett, who hits ahead of Nick Senzel.
Right-hander Tyler Mahle is getting the ball for Cincinnati, who in 15 starts owns a 2-8 record with a 4.35 ERA and has 84 strikeouts over 82.2 innings. In his last start against the Angels, Mahle lasted just five innings where he gave up four runs on six hits and four strikeouts.
