VIDEO: Brian Dozier Trolls Astros by Banging Trash Can While Watching Replay of World Series With Nats Teammates

The 2019 World Series champion Washington Nationals have spent their quarantine basking in their glory and reliving their historic season last year that brought the franchise their first title ever. As dozens of Nationals players from that team gathered together on Zoom to watch a replay of Game 7 of the 2019 series Tuesday night, raising money for charity, second baseman Brian Dozier (now with the San Diego Padres) trolled the Astros by banging on a trash can with a wooden ladle during key moments of the game.

The general consensus among the Nats on the call was that Dozier's little stunt was pretty hilarious.
For those who weren't watching the stream, Dozier joined the call late AND shirtless, and was an exceptional level of petty throughout.

While Dozier was a solid veteran addition to an experienced Nationals club, it was fellow ageless wonder Howie Kendrick who supplied the fireworks and the heroics in Game 7. After Houston inserted Will Harris in the game instead of Gerrit Cole, Kendrick took Harris' second pitch of the game off of the right field foul pole, giving the Nationals a 3-2 lead they would never relinquish.

Whenever baseball returns, the anti-Astros sentiments among fans and players will still be at an all-time high thanks to players like Dozier, as they haven't forgotten what the Astros almost got away with.
