Brian Flores and Dolphins Reportedly Trying to Poach Several Patriots Free Agents
By Jack Murphy
As March 16 is approaching, teams are figuring out what holes they want to fill via free agency. When you are a team like the Miami Dolphins, an abundance of issues could be addressed on the NFL's open market
The Dolphins steered away Brian Flores from the New England Patriots to be their head coach and now may look to steal a few players from their division rival in free agency.
The Dolphins have struggled with developing talent through the draft so now they are taking the route of signing players that have been a part of successful teams.
Miami is most interested in left guard Joe Thuney. They hold Thuney in high regard and are expected to actively pursue the 27-year-old left tackle and his high market value.
Along with Thuney, the Dolphins are also seemingly interested in Patriots center in Ted Karras and Pro Bowl safety Devin McCourty.
One Patriot that doesn't seem to be on the Dolphins radar is quarterback Tom Brady, even though they are in desperate need of a signal caller. This isn't necessarily surprising, as it's likely they use an early draft pick on a younger QB.
